Make Mordor Great Again

Last week brought 8 teams out to jockey for the jackpot, but they all walked away empty handed. 4 of those teams won a round. The lead shifted around just a little bit. A Small Loan of a Million Orcs succeed, but remember, they did it all on their own. But like we mentioned in the intro, they didn't win the jackpot.

Riker, Riker, Riker

This week's Pub Quiz started a fresh jackpot run. The game started, and Alana is Satan took the first two rounds, but other teams trailed them closely. I Love You, Uncle Ed grabbed a piece of our hearts and the third round because they had great (correct) answers, not because we're overly sentimental. FKA Riker took round 4, and used quality rounds 3 and 4 to take the win. But they didn't snatch the jackpot chip, so it begins to grow.

Riker Steals the D

Last Wednesday was a fun night and a 50/50 jackpot. 8 teams squared off, and the winner ended up a half point ahead of 2nd place. Those teams tied for rounds 1 and 3, and both times Trump Wants the Easy D won on the the time tie breaker. But, FKA Riker was a point better in round 2, and that more or less won them the game. And it was a good thing for them, as they pulled the jackpot chip! Congrats.

Tonight, we start a new jackpot run at Fresno Pub Quiz. We hope you'll join us for what we think is Fresno's best Pub Quiz.

Recap Squirt

We hope you had another fun week at Pub Quiz. We had ten teams show up and display their smarts in a variety of topics. G'Day Mate! tried to hang up on the competition by winning the first two rounds. The Fire Squids lit up round 3, and Los Jugadores Mas Finas were pretty fine as they took round 4. When all the math was done, the Fire Squids topped the room, but couldn't pull the jackpot chip. So, next week it's 50/50 odds on a nice jackpot.

Say It Enough and It Is True

This week, we had a great turnout of eleven teams at Pub Quiz. Three different teams won a round, and a few others just missed out on that time tie breaker. The lead in the game moved around, we had some ties at the top but ultimately Alternative Facts: You Come In Last and Win had enough truth in their lives to be the winners. However, they didn't pull the jackpot, so next week there are only 2 reds and 1 blue chip in the bag.

It was our anniversay

Thanks to everyone that came out and played Pub Quiz this week and helped us to celebrate 7 years of fun! Also, thanks to everyone that has played with us over those 7 years.

In the game, the Fire Squids started out hot and wet, and won the first two rounds. Los Jugadores Mas Fines grabbed the third round. Alana is Satan rose up from the depths to grab round 4. Who would win on the night? It was Los Jugadores, who won the night, and were suave enough to pull the jackpot chip. Congrats to them for both of those things.

Next week, the jackpot will start all fresh. Check back between now & Wednesday for any info for the night.
